Alisa Johnson

I was born and raised just outside Boston Massachusetts. I bicycled all over the historic places of Lexington, and Concord, in my younger years. I often would cycle 40 miles in a day visiting places, such as Minuteman National Park, Waldren Pond, the Battle Green, Louisa May Alcott’s home, or the Concord River. I remember when the Burlington Mall was a sand pit, we rode our mini-bikes on. (Boy is that dating myself! LOL) I remember going to the Burlington Mall the day it opened, wondering, “what on earth was a mall?” My kids would never believe that I grew up the first eleven years, or so of my life, never knowing what a mall was. Even my mother was not sure how to explain it to me. “We’ll find out when we get there.” Was the definitive answer I got. I have lived in Southern NH for over 27 years now. I moved here, because my then future husband, was an owner occupant of an investment property. My husband loved it here! No income tax, No sales tax, and No excise tax, less money for our car insurance. All that made him a much happier man.  I love NH, too! I love the mountains, the ocean, the lakes, the cities, the suburbs, the countryside. I love it all! And it is all in my backyard, or at most . . . just a hop, skip or jump away. I am a homeowner, an investor, and an avid vacationer/ recreationer. My family and I, ski, hike, fish, do various water sports, and ride motorcycles. We LOVE New England! And I LOVE real estate.   • Raised in Woburn, MA., Alisa moved to Southern NH to be with her husband, Russ (an Army Reserves CSM & Cisco Computer Architect). She has lived here since 1982, and raised her family here.
  • Her name Alisa, is pronounced Aah-Lisa (Lisa with an “A” in front of it). A derivative of Elisabeth, it means "seeker of truth”.
